Following Government and BMC advice, we have closed the Fallcliffe Cottage and are currently not taking bookings for stays up to the end of May. For the time being, we are holding bookings for May onwards and provisionally taking new bookings for June and beyond and will review the situation towards the end of each month. The Warden has contacted all those who have bookings before the end of April to inform them that their bookings have been cancelled.
Fees are £5.50 for ULGMC/ULMC members and University of London students; £6.50 for other university students; £9 all other guests. Children are charged at the rate of the accompanying adult.
Up to 15 places can be booked, with sole use bookings required to book all 15 places. No individual bookings accepted except for ULMC & ULGMC members.
Note that there are three bunkrooms which will be allocated to groups where possible, to avoid different groups sharing the same bunkroom.
To confirm a booking a deposit of 50% of the total fee is payable at the time of booking. All places booked must be paid for within 7 days after your stay. A charge of £2.00 per person per night will be charged for each month that fees are overdue. Charges will be levied if any cancelled places are not re-let. Full fees are payable if cancellation is within 2 weeks, half fees within 3 – 6 weeks of the booked dates.
Fallcliffe Cottage is a privately owned mountaineering club hut. All persons using the hut do so at their own risk. No responsibility is accepted for personal injury, loss, or damage to property, howsoever arising.
The person booking agrees to indemnify the Trustees in respect of any damage to the hut or loss or damage to fittings equipment, or injury to any other person. We reserve the right to levy a charge of up to £100 if the hut is not left in a clean and tidy condition for the next party.
All guests are expected to follow the instructions in the arrival and departure information provided.
