AGM 2011
The AGM is drawing ever closer!
You should now have your invitations and should definitely have booked your place at the Royal Oak if you're staying there. If you haven't received an invitation, please email me at the usual address or via the contact page on this website. There'll soon be an online version of the invitation in the members area, so watch that space.
Don't forget to add whether you're attending the special 50th anniversary of Caseg breakfast, taking place on the Sunday.

Meets List 2012
It's time for volunteers for the 2012 meets list to start thinking about where to take the club. So could those running traditional meets let me know if you're willing to continue and those wanting to push the frontiers with a new meet also let me know.

London Meet for Current and Prospective Members
Hi all! For those of you within spitting distance of London, there's going to be a climbing session followed by food and drink on the 13th of August at the Castle. This is to give us all a chance to catch up with each other and also a chance for recent graduates who'd like to join to come along and see what we're about. Hope to see as many of you there as possible!
The plan is:
The Castle from 11am.
Food and drink at the Rose and Crown, Stoke Newington from 6pm (www.roseandcrownn16.co.uk).

AGM 2011
Royal Oak Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed, 22nd October
Hi everyone,
As I'm sure you all know, the AGM this year is in North Wales and is taking place at the Royal Oak, Betws-Y-Coed. It's getting to the time when they're expecting bookings for rooms so please, if you're intending to stay in the hotel, let them know as soon as possible.
You can telephone them on 01690710219 or 01609710011 and mention that you're from ULGMC. We are dealing with Barbara, so if you can speak to her, even better.

Summer camping weekends
The Cornwall Camping (26th May - 1st June) and Symonds Yat (22nd - 29th July) trips are coming up this summer. Please contact the Battens for Cornwall and Keith for Symonds Yat as soon as you can to secure a pitch!

Call for photo's!
This year is the 60th anniversary of ULGMC and to celebrate we need your photos and anecdotes before the AGM in October where they will be displayed in all their glory. You can also catch a display board going round the huts on some of the key meets leading up to the AGM where you can submit your pics and stories.
So please send Keith or Heather your memories of the club, by post or email, as soon as you can!

AGM 2010
The 2010 AGM and dinner has now been booked and will be taking place at The Old Dungeon Ghyll in the Lake District. Dinner is booked for the 30th, apologies to those of you who will be unable to attend as a result of this shift of dates. As I mentioned at the AGM the hotel are only willing to be our hosts if we fill the majority of the rooms so could I ask those of you who are planning to stay in the hotel on the 29th and 30th to book as soon as possible (details below). For the rest of us there's Rawhead, kindly booked by Bill Bristow. Please let Bill or myself know if you need a space (you can contact me on the MORE|>CONTACTS tab).
I hope to see as many of you there as possible.
